  • ACC commander visits flying wings

    Gen. Mike Holmes, the commander of Air Combat Command, recently visited ACC flying wings one last time to connect with Airmen and aircrews. The visit was planned to provide commander’s intent regarding training priorities, share information about recent mishaps with instructors and leaders, and update Airmen on challenges facing ACC and the Air Force.
  • ACC commander immersed in U-2 reconnaissance mission

    Gen. Mike Holmes, commander of Air Combat Command, visited Beale Air Force Base Sept. 4 to 6. During the visit, Holmes was immersed in all aspects of the reconnaissance mission. He worked with the 9th Maintenance Group, 9th Physiological Support Squadron, and 9th Operations Group for his immersion, which included a high-flight in the U-2 Dragon Lady.
  • When you can give, the Air Force Assistance Fund gives back

    Since 1942, the AFAF campaign has been run by the Air Force family to help the Air Force family. Whether we are aware of it or not, each of us knows someone who has been helped by the Fund. Anything we can do today helps ensure that assistance will be available for other Airmen and other families when they need it tomorrow.
  • ACC commander visits Beale

    Gen. Mike Holmes, commander of Air Combat Command, visited the base and met with members of Team Beale July 26-27. During his visit, Holmes toured various facilities where he spoke to Airmen and attended numerous meetings and briefings.
