A large Christmas tree was lit during the Hearts Apart Dinner and tree lighting Dec. 4, 2013, at Beale Air Force Base, Calif. The 9th Force Support Squadrons and Airman & Family Readiness Center together with Beale's first sergeants, firefighters, and volunteers from the base hosted the tree lighting for the base populace and the Hearts Apart Dinner for spouses and families of deployed Airmen.
