Sexual Assault Victim Advocates profiles, they are here to help
Tech. Sgt. Daniel Drennen has worked in almost every major functional area in the military including being a mentor and supervisor to young Airmen. He intends to become a first sergeant because he cares about people and can relate to their circumstances in some way. Being and victim advocate is important to Drennen because he cares about his fellow Airmen and can be a flexible good listener. He believes it is important to be an advocate providing help to someone on their worst day. Victim Advocate profile
Tech. Sgt. Elizabeth Aruja completed Victim Advocate training at McChord Air Force Base, Wash., in 2006 and continued volunteering as a VA when after arriving at Beale in 2008. She is the on-call VA for a week two times per month, attends court cases with victims, gives sexual assault briefings, and teaches Rape Aggression Defense training. Aruja became a VA because she wanted to ensure each Airman receives the services, support, and information they need in a respectful and safe atmosphere. (U.S. Air Force photo)
