BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- "Joining the military made me grow up, and I am glad I did it. Now I am proud to serve in a civilian capacity, because I can share what I learned in the military with my civilian counterparts. It also helps me understand our Airmen from both aspects and the challenges they may face."
