Fishing tourney raises nearly $10,000 for Beale's Wounded Warriors

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- More than 175 Team Beale and local community members gathered to support local Wounded Warriors with a fishing tournament at the Sacramento River near North Sacramento Calif., Aug 24.

The tournament was hosted by Balfour Beatty with support of Beale's Airman and Family Readiness Center.

As of Sep 3, the event has raised $9741 for Beale Wounded Warriors.

"The generosity we've received has been amazing," said Elizabeth Kim, 9th Force Support Squadron community readiness consultant at the A&FRC. "We hope to continue this event next year."
