New Air National Guard Facility closes in on completion

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  The new Wing Operations & Training Facility building edges closer to its May 2014 completion date.

The 10,800-square foot single story building will house the 162nd Combat Communications Group, a California Air National Guard unit based out of Sacramento.

Total construction cost for the new building is approximatley $5 million.

The group has three primary missions: space communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and cyberspace communication service.
