The Beale Officers' Spouses' Club is honored to have awarded a total of $12,000 in scholarship funds to five deserving students. All of this year's recipients are children of local military service members. The scholarship recipients are:
-- Gabrielle Hayes, Marysville Charter Academy for the Arts
-- Anastasia Nikolaeva, Whitney High School
-- Jessica Calahorrano, Yuba City High School

In a highly competitive selection process, the scholarship selection board chose the recipients based on academic achievements, extracurricular activities, community involvement, letters of recommendation, and an essay. The selection board was comprised of a panel of high-ranking military members and well-respected community leaders.

"The BOSC scholarship committee is honored to award a total of $12,000 to these deserving students," said Ciara Anderson, Scholarship Chairperson for the Beale Officers' Spouses' Club.
