The Contrails Inn Dining Facility was presented with the Hennessy Award for Air Combat Command Nov. 30, for outstanding food services. Established in 1956, The Hennessy Award Program is an annual competition showcasing the best food service programs in the Air Force. The program promotes excellence in customer service and meal quality.

Santa Claus taxied into Dock 6 in a themed U-2 Dragon Lady for the Children's Holiday Party while more than 1,500 members of Team Beale lined the entry control point preparing for his arrival Dec. 10.
