"... I like knowing that I am a vital part of mission success ..."

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --
After high school I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. At 17, I participated in the local Police Department cadet training for youth and knew that was not for me. Then I participated in the Fire Department explorer training and knew that wasn't for me either. After that, I tried construction, again, it wasn't for me. Finally, I ended up on a bus headed for Lackland. The Air Force. The first couple of weeks I wondered what the hell did I do? But after graduation and the completion of tech school, I love it. I enjoy working with my hands and get to work on aircraft. I like knowing that I am a vital part of mission success.
