"...I was able to settle down and plant my roots..."

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --
"The Air Force sent me to Beale
as my first duty station. I've been lucky enough to stay here my whole career
and I was able to settle down and plant my roots. My husband and I are very
outdoorsy so this area is perfect for us. The big differences between Maryland
and California are no humidity and not having to shovel snow. The best thing
about being here is being able to take advantage of the snowy mountains and the
breezy beaches. The west coast is the perfect place to be for adventure."
