The chapel is commonly known as a place for Sunday worship services, but for the Beale Chaplain Corps that is only a small portion of what they offer to Team Beale. The Chaplain Corps here hosts a number of different events to provide for the spiritual care of military members and their families, as well as civilian contractors on Beale.

"Our ultimate goal is to be with the people of Beale," said Tech. Sgt. Joshua Trotter, 9th Reconnaissance Wing NCO in charge of chapel operations. "We spend time with the Beale community by hosting different events to show our presence and availability for anybody in need of guidance."

The events the Chaplain Corps hosts:

Warrior Care Events- The chapel provides a time of fellowship and spiritual discussion while enjoying a breakfast or a luncheon. These events are held monthly on base for different groups and squadrons to help bring wingmen together and build a spiritual presence in the community.

Relationship Enhancement Retreats- These are weekend long retreats for couples or single participants to practice spiritual resiliency and communication. Each retreat is located in an area that provides for fun and relaxation. The retreats include activities such as amusement parks and water parks, city tours and more.

Pre- and post-deployment Spiritual Resiliency Events- The Chaplain Corps offers these events for Airmen and family members to enjoy a one day event before and after deployments. The event encompasses spiritual resiliency training with activities such as hiking, kayaking, skydiving, and zip lining to explore and enjoy nature.

"Being able to provide these events are a great way for the Chaplain Corps to get connected with Team Beale," said Chaplain (Capt.) Brenner Campbell. "We are able to have better communication with the community by having these events rather than having a traditional sit down in the chapel."

In addition to these events the Chaplain Corps facilitates an array of Bible study groups and is always available for counseling.

"We provide these options to the Beale community because we love the Airmen and want to be beacons of hope to the men and women of Beale, showing them they have people here who truly care," Campbell said.
