"... She would tell me that I was the best thing that ever happened to her...."

"When I was little, my parents got a divorce. My mom was an emotional person and had a rough time afterward. It seemed she never had any peace. Often we would go for a drive in her white Camaro so she could let off steam. Whenever she got tired of driving we would find a quiet spot, lay on top of the car and watch the stars while listening to a cassette of Aerosmith. That's when she seemed the most happiest; the most at peace. She would tell me that I was the best thing that ever happened to her."
