“Checking things off the bucket list”

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  I returned this past year after being away from my family for 16 months at Incirlik, Turkey. There were a lot of things I missed out on which was challenging for my wife and children. So when I got back it was very important for me to spend lots of quality time with them and pursue meaningful goals while checking things off the bucket list. We went biking around San Francisco, skydiving and I recently ran my first marathon, which took several months to prepare for. Currently I am in the middle of writing a book about my life, my family and our experiences in the military.
