Beale receives final house of privatization project

BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Balfour Beatty Communities, Beale's housing contractor, received the final house of a $91 million privatization project here Aug. 18.

The project took more than two years to complete. It included 505 unlivable homes demolished, 331 homes built, and 178 homes renovated.

Construction will continue in the housing community, adding amenities like a dog park, tennis court, volleyball court, and additional playgrounds.
