The Beale clinic started a mystery patient program in October to evaluate the delivery of health services and receive feedback from patients.

The clinic staff will be the mystery patients initially, and later the program will be open to all patients.

"We hope this program can provide a different view of our patients' experience here," said Col. Jody Ocker, 9th Medical Group commander. "We encourage all feedback to help us identify areas which are not meeting expectations."

The patients participating in the program will receive a questionnaire to complete after the visit. The questions will cover the moment of appointment scheduling through every possible encounter of the visit.

"Our staff is ready and willing to accommodate patient needs according to standards of care and the military health benefit," Ocker said. "Our goal is for our patients to have the best experience possible."

Patients can also provide feedback anytime by contacting a patient advocate and/or filling out a yellow customer service comment card, which are located throughout the clinic.

In addition, future information and updates about the mystery patient program will be posted on the 9th Medical Group Facebook page.
