The BMLC is an organization of civic and community leaders who support Beale Air Force Base and hold events and fundraisers to support Beale Airmen through a variety of initiatives.

"It's an honor to support those who sacrifice so much," said Bill Simmons, BMLC board member. "We truly can't thank them enough."

The money raised by the BMLC to fund these quality of life projects was obtained through donations from the local community.

"The support we receive from Beale's local community is overwhelming," said Master Sgt. Chad Hepner. "Everyone at Beale truly appreciates the kindness and generosity."

In addition to raising funds for quality of life projects, the BMLC is an active contributor to Operation Warm Heart.

Warm Heart is a program managed by the First Sergeants Council and organizes turkey dinner baskets for Thanksgiving, gift drives, quarterly Hearts Apart dinners, and other morale events for all of Team Beale.

"We look for every opportunity to give back to Beale," Simmons said. "It's not surprising to see the community step up and show appreciation to our service members."
