BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --

Col. Andrew Clark assumed command of the 9th Reconnaissance Wing and Beale Air Force Base during a change of command ceremony April 13, 2018, at Beale Air Force Base, California.

Clark, who most recently served as the vice commander here at Beale, succeeds Col. Larry Broadwell, who led the 9th RW and Beale AFB for more than two years.

"I am honored and excited to continue serving under the 25th Air Force," Clark said. "I trust in all of you, and I know we will not fail as we continue to push the intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance mission on an upward trajectory."

Maj. Gen. Mary O'Brien, 25th Air Force commander, was the presiding official for the ceremony.
Broadwell was presented with the Legion of Merit– given for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements.
