9th Maintenance Group

The 9th Maintenance Group is comprised of three squadrons, a Maintenance Operations Flight and a Quality Assurance Flight totaling more than 700 personnel. It is responsible for providing worldwide maintenance support and fleet health management for the U-2 and T-38 aircraft, which fulfill global intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions directed by the National Command Authority. It also supports worldwide taskings for operating locations and other Joint Chiefs of Staff requirements.

The group includes the 9th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 9th Maintenance Squadron and the 9th Munitions Squadron. The 9th Maintenance Group supports the wing mission by providing on- and off­ equipment maintenance and mass ammunition production training through the Air Force Combat Ammunitions Center.
