Beale maintainers achieve "black-letter" status on Dragon Lady
A U-2 Dragon Lady is showcased for attaining a rare achievement at Beale Air Force Base, California, July 14, 2015. The aircraft was recognized as a “black-letter jet,” an accomplishment in which a plane flies with zero discrepancies. The achievement has not happened in 13 years at Beale.
