9 LRS Fuels Lab tests our fuel

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Dale Torres, 9th Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels technician, uses a Free Water Detector at the Beale Air Force Base, Calif., Fuels Lab, Nov. 8, 2011. The machine uses an ultra violet light to show traces of water in fuel. This allows Torres to determine the amount of water present in fuel and ensure it is mixed properly.
