372nd Training Squadron Detachment 21

DET 21 MISSION:

ABOUT US:

 Detachment 21 of the 372d Training Squadron, 982d Training Group, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, provides world class aircraft maintenance training to the 9th Reconnaissance Wing and its partners within the ISR community.
 

Thirteen instructors from across 7 career fields develop and deliver 25 formal aircraft maintenance courses covering in-depth theory of operation for Mission Ready Airmen and advanced troubleshooting on the U-2 aircraft systems, T-38 egress systems and aerospace ground equipment. Detachment 21 trains approximately 300 students annually and is a Community College of the Air Force-affiliated school. Detachment 21 is the only Right Time Training technical training facility for the U-2 in the entire Air Force.

In addition to supporting the 9th Reconnaissance Wing, Detachment 21 also provides world class aircraft maintenance training for other active, reserve and guard units; civilian agencies, and partner nation forces.
