AAPIH month ends with luau

Lt. Col. Thomas E. Byron, 9th Reconnaissance Wing Staff Judge Advocate, hits the target to dunk a first sergeant May 22, 2014 during a luau in support of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month at Beale Air Force Base, Calif. AAPIH Month started as an annual week-long celebration in 1978 then was extended by President George H.W. Bush to a month-long celebration twelve years later.
