Also, all members can use their Controlled Spend Account (CSA), for all official travel related expenses. Be sure to visit your departing FSO within 30 days of your departure so they can brief you concerning your PCS pay and travel entitlements and prepare your records for departure. The FSO may be reached by calling customer service at DSN 368-2205 or commercially at (530) 634-2205. For travel questions please e-mail 9cpts.fm@beale.af.mil for active duty and 9CPTSReserveTravel@beale.af.mil for reservists.

The Defense Travel System (DTS) is an online TDY order and voucher system. DTS is designed to put the member in charge, giving them the ability to know when their orders are ready to go. Every squadron on Beale AFB has a few select individuals, known as Organizational Defense Travel Administrators (ODTA), that know DTS in order to help with any issues along the way. Once you in-process the base, ensure you get with your squadron ODTA to update your profile in DTS. This includes your new e-mail address, home address, squadron, GTC/CSA card information and your EFT banking information. Please ensure all of these items are updated at all times, especially if you know you will be traveling. After your travels are done you will need to create a voucher in DTS to close out your orders. Ensure you have all required receipts which include itemized lodging receipts, airfare, rental car and anything over $75. These receipts cannot have estimated costs and will go under the substantiating records page in your voucher. Upon completion your squadron Approving Officials (AO) will audit your document and approve or return the voucher pending any additional action required. Once approved, it takes 2-3 business days for DTS to disburse funds. Please get in contact with your squadron ODTA first if there are any issues with your DTS experience. The ODTA is the liaison between the squadron and Finance at Beale AFB. If they are unavailable we will be happy to assist you in any way we can.
For DTS questions please contact your ODTA. You can also e-mail your questions to DTS.Help.Desk@beale.af.mil

For budget questions please contact your resource advisor or you can e-mail 9cpts.fma@beale.af.mil

Yesterday members of Beale came together for a speed networking event as part of Women's Equality Day. The focus of the event was to foster small group conversations on a variety of topics, such as the inclusion of men and women across the armed forces, progress that has been made, and how we can improve in the future. 25th Air Force 9th RW Commander Gen Mike Holmes
If you need to talk to someone or elevate an issue, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly to us, 9th RW Commander, 9th RW Command Chief, or even our leadership at ACC. We may not always have the answer or be able to directly help, but we can find the people or organizations that will make sure you have what you need to be your best self. Service before self does not mean service instead of self. When you are at your best, we are all better for it. When you can’t get there yourself, we will be here to help carry the load.

When brand new U-2 crew chiefs come to Beale they don't start with the 9th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. Instead they begin learning how to work on the U-2 at the 372nd Training Squadron Det. 21. The detachment then molds them into the great Recce crew chiefs you see everyday. To read more: https://bit.ly/31LB5Vp Air Education and Training Command
