Chief Master Sergeant BREANA N. OLIVER


Chief Master Sergeant Breana N. Oliver serves as the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 9th Reconnaissance Wing, Beale Air Force Base, California. The wing provides the nation’s command authorities with high-altitude ISR capabilities in addition to providing combat support forces for national and theater contingencies. Chief Oliver serves as the principal enlisted advisor to the Commander on all issues regarding the health, morale, welfare, discipline, and readiness of approximately 7,000 military, civilian and contractor personnel spanning four groups, four overseas operating locations and the entire Air Force high-altitude fleet of U-2 Dragon Lady aircraft.


Chief Master Sergeant Oliver entered the Air Force in June 2001 as a Russian Airborne Cryptologic Language Analyst, she went on to specialize as a Russian interpreter. Her background includes duty positions supporting international treaty verification, diplomacy, language program management, electronic warfare, and ISR career field management. She has flown on a multitude of aircraft with aircrews from all over the world. Prior to her current assignment, she served in the Air Education and Training Command as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 17th Training Group responsible for training 10,000 graduates annually of the world’s finest joint service, DoD, and international Firefighter, ISR, and Scientific Applications professionals. She continues to maintain her Russian language skillset.
