Beale schedules hunting lottery
Due to California's Automated Licensing Data System (ALDS), the application process has changed. Prospective deer hunters must provide a photocopy of their California Hunting License, a photocopy of military identification card, and a check for $27.81 made out to Department of Fish and Game (or DFG). Those not selected may choose to have their packages returned, or handed to DFG for other lotteries and zones. Provide a list of first, second and third zone choices, if applicable. Selectees will receive tags by mail from the Department of Fish and Game
Due to limitation of deer tags, applicants are turned away each year. Each applicant should consider his or her availability for hunting before applying for a deer tag.
Application packages must be submitted to the 9th Civil Engineer Environmental Section at 6601 B Street no later than one hour before the drawing. If interested in participating and will be TDY, make arrangements to fulfill all the above requirements. For further information, contact the Natural Resources Office at 634-2738
