9TH AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SQUADRON
The 9th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron launches, recovers and maintains the Air Force's U-2 and RQ-4 high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft fleet in support of operational and training sorties. The squadron also manages fleet health to meet peacetime requirements and ensure aircraft availability for all peacetime and wartime taskings, as well as deploys aircraft, personnel and equipment in support of contingency operations and other presidential and SECDEF taskings throughout the world.
