"My name is Tarzan and I am a five year old Belgian Malinois. I am a military working dog assigned to the 9th Security Forces Squadron here at Beale. I recently returned from my first deployment where I was stationed at Al Jabr Air Base in Kuwait. While deployed my daily duties included base security checks, searching vehicles, and hanging out with my former handler, Senior Airman Anthony Flores. Now that I am back home I can focus on pursuing my other interests which include playing with my new handler, Staff Sgt. Christopher Whelehan, getting groomed, and trying to catch that pesky tail of mine. After I retire from the Air Force I hope to be adopted by a loving family who enjoy walks as much as I do."
