Members of the band Mobility, a subdivision of the United Sates Air Force Band of the Golden West, brought some holiday cheer by performing for Team Beale Dec. 14.

The band performed at various work centers around Beale to spread some holiday cheer with songs and sing-a-long carols.

"It was great, very uplifting and it put us all in a good mood," said Col. Kevin G. Cavanagh, 940th Reserve Wing commander. "A perfect way to kickoff the holiday season."

The band also made special stops at the Child Development and Youth Centers.

"The children loved it, it was nice to have them sing along to songs that they recognize," said Donna Griest, Child Development Center director. "Little things like this really makes their whole day."

Those performances were just as meaningful to members of the band.
"It's great when we get a chance to play at the CDC and Youth Center," said Senior Airmen Megan Hokaj, vocalist for Mobility. "I love to see them sing along to our music."

Mobility, based at Travis AFB, travels the West Coast bringing civilians and military personnel entertainment and American pride through music. Mobility consists of Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboard, and Vocals.

"We bring an unplugged version of holiday cheer," said Senior Airman Brandon May, keyboardist for Mobility. "We can play almost anywhere, we're very mobile and don't need much to set up and play."
