Mission:
Maximize the combat capability of the USAF by providing full spectrum combat munitions training as a Total Force Integrator for all munitions personnel worldwide and ensure the highest level of support to our installation customers.

 

Organization:
More than 70 active duty and civilian members are assigned to the 9th Munitions Squadron. The Schoolhouse also produces 680 graduates, ranging from SrA to General. The unit consists of 2 Flights, including Curriculum Flight and Munitions Flight.

The unit falls under the 9th Maintenance Group, 9th Reconnaissance Wing, and is located at Beale Air Force Base, CA.

Lineage:

Started at Sierra Army Depot (SIAD) in Herlong, CA in Oct 1985. Became the Combat Ammunition Production and Planning Course in Mar 1986. Transferred to Air Combat Command in Jun 1992. Relocated and activated at Beale AFB in Nov 1992.
